 CHAPTER 2 - Changing the Trajectory

Finally arriving at the gate of the community, Lianyi saw many zombies blocking the electric gate, and there were also zombies moving in the courtyard of the community. It was obvious that some residents in the community had turned into zombies.

Lianyi counted thirteen zombies in the yard, most of them gathered at the door of the building where she lived. She had to think of a way to get them to leave the building door.

At this time, he was hiding with Yun Rou in a self-service couple's sex toy store less than 500 meters away from the place where the original body lives.

In the narrow space, there was only enough room for two people to hide. The two were very close to each other, which made Ma Tao feel happy. However, the sudden ringing of the phone broke the ambiguity.

The ringing of the phone startled the two people hiding in the small space, especially Ma Tao. The slow-moving zombies outside heard the sound and started moving towards their location.

A ferocious look flashed across Ma Tao's honest face, because this ringtone belonged exclusively to his fiancée Wu Lianyi, but now it became a death warrant. Yun Rou's eyes also darkened.

Ma Tao hurriedly took out his cell phone from his pocket, quickly hung up the call, and then held his breath, hoping that the zombies that surrounded him would disperse as soon as possible.

Yun Rou bit her lip and whispered: "Brother Ma, you shouldn't have abandoned Lianyi just to save me. She is calling now, she's still alive and waiting for us to rescue her. How about we ask where she is then find a way to meet up with her. "

Ma Tao seemed to have just discovered his sincerity. He expressed his position very skillfully then took out his silent cell phone and dialed Lianyi's number.

When Wu Lianyi was about to lose her patience, a muffled phone ring came from the bag in the yard which instantly attracted more than a dozen zombies in the yard. Those human-like monsters walked over with stiff steps following the sound.

"Great timing!"

Lianyi curled her lips and smiled. After making sure that all the zombies in the yard were attracted over, she rushed out of the shadows of the alley, then swung the iron pipe to knock a zombie moving towards her flying backwards directly hitting the electric door, completely silencing it.

The noise here and the scent of Wu Lianyi's body attracted the zombies in the yard and they started moving towards her following the scent. She then stepped on the shoulders of the silent zombie leaning against the electric gate, climbed up the gate, then jumped into the yard.

The moment she landed, Lianyi rolled forward to reduce the impact of her landing, then rushed towards the unit door before the zombies could pounce on her.

The original's residence was an old family compound, and the property management company was just a decoration. Because the people living in the compound were retired employees who were unwilling to pay property fees, they naturally could not enjoy considerate services. The unit door had long been broken and was just a decoration that could just be opened by pulling from the outside.

Lianyi opened and closed the door in one go, and then started to climb the stairs. She rented the sixth floor, where the rent was cheap.

Because it was an old house, there is no elevator. Wu Lianyi could only climb the stairs quickly, and she has to guard against the appearance of mutated zombies. The narrow stairwell is inconvenient for dodging.
