CHAPTER 35 - Arrival in the Capital

When the three scientific research bosses saw the equipment placed in the empty room, they immediately rushed over with shining eyes, and walked around the equipment several times, while saying "yes" repeatedly.

"We have only seen this set of instruments in computer pictures, but we didn't expect the real thing to be so beautiful."

"Well, I didn't know they had this equipment in K City before. They must have been afraid that we would borrow it, so they didn't let the news out."

"Hehe! In the end, it fell into our hands!"

Looking at the slightly obscene smile on the face of the scientific researcher, Ying Yi didn't know whether to laugh or cry, but still asked:

The communicator answered truthfully.

Wu Lianyi nodded. This time it was a lucky coincidence. Her original target was the Level 3 crystal core.

Five days later, everyone got the upgraded crystal core gun, and they couldn't put it down.

The overall strength of the escort team has improved, and everyone has more confidence.

The captains of the Black Panther Team and the Chaoyang Team went to find Captain Ying Yi to discuss whether they could be equipped with some crystal core guns. After the two parties reached an agreement, the two civilian zombie-hunting teams were also equipped with crystal core guns.

It took three months for the escort team to overcome all obstacles along the way, finally arriving at the outskirts of the Capital base at the end of autumn.

The closer they got to the Capital base, the more battles the escort team encountered, and the more powerful the zombies became. Fortunately, all of them were capable, and with the blessing of the crystal core gun, they were able to escape smoothly every time.

During these three months, the two zombie-hunting teams of Black Panther and Chaoyang suffered casualties one after another. In order to fill this gap, they had to recruit some more capable people along the way, resulting in some confusion in the team.

As for Ying Yi and his two military teams, their casualties were significantly less. They also recruited some new teammates with good strength. Two of them were retired special forces members and had some connections with Ying Yi and the others, so they integrated into the team really fast.

During this period, a small incident occurred in the escort team.

There was an organization similar to the mafia which took a fancy to the crystal core guns their teams were equipped with. They first proposed a deal, but after being rejected, the boss of the organization arranged for their people to join the Black Panther and Chaoyang Zombie Hunting Teams, hoping to use internal and external forces to seize the research results of the crystal core gun for themselves.

In the end, none of this escaped Sun Yi's perception. They took advantage of the situation and used the opportunity to cripple the organization, emptied their warehouses, and rescued some controlled ordinary people and people with special abilities.

The convoy had no choice but to expand again. Fortunately, when they came across a survivor base halfway, some survivors took the initiative to stay. In the end, only more than a hundred people actually arrived at the Capital base. Together with the entire escort team, they formed a team of 200 people, and ordinary small teams would not dare to provoke them.

Although the two people on the opposite side stood in front of Ying Yi, their eyes were looking at Wu Lianyi and Sun Wang through their sunglasses.

After the other party took the initiative, the woman spoke:

The detection in the capital is very advanced. After passing through a device similar to a security gate, they could determine if one is a zombie-infected person. An hour later, they successfully moved into a six-story building with two people in a room, with a toilet and bathroom, which is a very good living environment.

Everyone took a nice hot bath and slept comfortably, and then set off to attend the small banquet in the evening.
