CHAPTER 40 - San Sheng Counterattacks

Wu Lianyi asked the communicator in her mind.

Because this zombie has handsome features, pale skin, red eyes, and a mouth full of good teeth, if he didn't bite people, he would just look like a sickly young man. Who would have thought that the other party would be so cruel.

A special ability-user had already launched an attack. A huge fireball flew towards the zombie's head, but he dodged it by tilting his head. Then the he jumped, clenched his fist and rushed towards the ability-user.

At the same time, the light shield above his head slowly closed, and the crystal core defense light shield was activated.

T/N: We'll call the mutated animals and zombies with special abilities as mutants, just so I don't keep repeating the term 'special abilities' too many times in a single paragraph. 🙂 They will be called 'mutated' if they just changed physically but 'mutants' if they have special powers/abilities. We'll keep the term 'ability users' exclusive to humans with special abilities. I have updated Chapter 32 to include this note as well.
