CHAPTER 21 - A Bad Premonition

Because the method of using crystal cores has been determined, the army took on the mission and obtained crystal cores in an open and honest manner, so they became the first beneficiaries, and the number of Level 1 ability-users also increased.

After completing the construction of the wall, the survivors did not want to sit idle. After learning that they could exchange crystal cores for food and drink, they also began to organize a corpse-hunting team, following behind the large army, picking up leaks and cleaning up the battlefield. If they were lucky, they could even find supplies.

The entire survivor base came to life, and young and middle-aged people joined in the killing of zombies. They knew that the world was different now, and if they wanted to survive, they had to adapt early, otherwise they would be the ones who would be eliminated in the end.

Three days later, Sun Yi failed to advance and she was still absorbing crystal cores. Wu Lianyi could only let Sun Wang stay and take care of Sun Yi, while she set off with the Eagle Wing team to the military airport.

Sun Wang was extremely reluctant, but he also knew that his older sister was absorbing crystal cores to advance, and someone had to be around her to protect her in case something unexpected happened, and there was no one more suitable than him.

T/N: I have changed Black Hawk Operations Squad into Black Eagle Operations Squad instead and updated the previous chapter. 'Ying' can either be hawk or eagle and I kinda liked the sound of Black Hawk at first, but when in comes to their code names, I kinda liked the sound of Eagle more (Eagle Wing, Purple Eagle, Eye Eagle, Flying Eagle vs. Hawk Wing, Purple Hawk, Eye Hawk, Flying Hawk). 🙂 Since their code names were derived from their team name, I had to adjust one or the other, so Eagle it is!

I will be using Lianyi and the Sun siblings' English code names if they were called by their code names so as not to get confused with their real names. I will keep Captain Ying Yi as is instead of translating it in English (Eagle Wing) since I don't remember his real name being mentioned anywhere in the story anyway. But for their team name, it will be Eagle Wing Team.
