CHAPTER 27 - Extermination Operation

"Captain, it seems that we have to enforce justice this time. These people with no bottom line are more hateful than zombies. They have brains and can calculate. I don't know how many people have suffered from their murderous hands."

Ying Ao has always dared to say anything, and this time was no exception.

They had carried out many missions before the apocalypse, and had also encountered people like these who had no legal and moral bottom line.

"Okay, let's communicate in codes from now on, don't let anything go wrong."

Ying Yi glanced around with a pair of eagle eyes, reminding everyone not to get overconfident just because the recent mission was completed smoothly.

"Understood!"

Ying Yi immediately summoned the captains and deputy captains of the four teams and began further arrangements and deployment.

After Wu Lianyi knew that the captain was going to deal with those rubbish, she did not interject and would just act according to the plan.

The next day, the three scientific researchers were arranged to stay at the resort to wait for news. Elites from each team were dispatched to serve as guards, and the rest were divided into small groups and started to carry out the extermination plan.

This time, Wu Lianyi and Sun Yi disguised themselves and were in a car with Captain Ying Yi and the earth-based ability-user. With three vehicles following them, the group of ten people went directly to the base camp of the "Doomsday Lunatics", and their purpose was to infiltrate and create chaos.

The remaining people, led by the three captains: Ying Ao, Black Panther and Chaoyang, went to exterminate the group of scum who set up roadblocks at the entrance of L City, for a two-pronged approach.

Sure enough, after their car deliberately broke down, they were surrounded by a group of burly men. These people had various weapons in their hands, including knives, guns and sticks, and the leader was holding a pistol.

"Come down and let Grandpa see!"

The leader has a rough face and was only 1.7 meters tall, but his tone was very arrogant.

Although the leader almost had his eyes glued to the two women, he still caught the key words.

"My lady is the daughter of the mayor of L City. She went to W City for a trip before the apocalypse, and we lost contact after the apocalypse. We just got in touch with recently, so I was arranged to pick her up. Please give me some face."

Ying Yi continued to pretend.

Laughter rang out all around them. It was obvious that in the eyes of these people, Wu Lianyi and the others were commodities waiting to be sold.

The leader immediately said viciously.

There was a short, skinny man next to him who was playing with the cold knife in his hand, looking at their group of ten with gloomy eyes. The other party should be a metal ability-user, and was indirectly threatening them.

Wu Lianyi and Sun Yi pretended to be frightened, and their expressions changed one after another. They glared at the useless Ying Yi, and then obediently followed the group of men into their base.

"Lock them up first!"

The stocky man warned the eager crowd, then went in to report the situation to his boss.

Wu Lianyi and Sun Yi huddled together, supporting each other as they were sent to the so-called single room.

The two pretended to be frightened and looked around. After entering the single room, they just huddled in a corner. It seemed that because they were women and had no weapons on them, they did not bother to tie them up and just locked the door.

Wu Lianyi and Sun Yi looked at each other. Twenty minutes later, there was unbridled laughter from outside. It seemed that they found wine in their car, and were ready to reward themselves. After a while, the aroma of meat permeated the air.

The ten members of the action team were not locked in the same room, but everyone was waiting for the best time to act.

After midnight, the noise outside quieted down, and then the door of the single room was opened. A drunk man with a lewd smile on his face, walked in while unbuckling his belt and mumbling:

"Hehe, accompany this brother..."

Before the rest of the words were spoken, Wu Lianyi's hand had already grabbed his neck, and with a "snap", the other party died quietly.

Sun Yi stepped forward and dragged the man and placed him in the corner where they were sitting before. Then she covered him with their coats, and made a simple disguise.

"Scar, have you succeeded?"

The voice came from outside the door, and as soon as a monkey-faced man with sharp features stuck his head in, he was grabbed by Wu Lianyi. This time, she punched him in the heart, and the man instantly lost his breath.

After placing the two bodies in the corner to replace them, Wu Lianyi took out the equipment from the space. The two armed themselves from head to toe, then stepped out of the single room, and started killing under the cover of darkness.

After the outside fell into silence, Ying Yi and his men also cut the ropes that bound them, then sneaked out of the place of detention, and began to harvest the lives of these group of "doomsday lunatics".

"Ah! They're escaping!"

A surprised cry broke the silence in the base and woke up the living people. They turned their heads and found that the brothers they had just been drinking with were now silent. They immediately clenched the weapons in their hands and began to gather together.

At this moment, a flying knife flew past Wu Lianyi's cheek. Because it missed the target, it turned a corner and flew back from behind, targeting her back.

With a "ding" sound, the flying knife was knocked away by a bullet. Sun Yi stood beside Wu Lianyi while a group of people slowly surrounded the two of them. This time, they looked at the two of them with eyes that wanted to tear them apart.

"You stinky b*tch dare to play dirty tricks with us! I will kill you and use you for food!"

The short, skinny man who spoke also stuck out his tongue and licked the flying knife in his hand, as if he was savouring the taste.

Seeing this, Wu Lianyi wanted to roll her eyes, while Sun Yi felt a little disgusted.

Right at this moment, there was a sudden explosion in the distance. The boom was so loud that the two sides confronting each other both heard it. Red smoke clouds started spreading, and the place where the incident occurred was exactly where the trap set by these doomsday lunatics was.
