CHAPTER 9 -The Sun Siblings

"This elder sister."

The speed ability user swallowed his saliva and spoke.

"Hm? Am I that old?"

Lianyi's face darkened, and she spoke quietly.

"That... we lured away the zombies surrounding the car."

"I saved your lives. How are you going to repay me?"

Ripple said unceremoniously.

This left the man speechless. Lianyi rolled her eyes at him and got into the car first. With a light press, the car started and she was ready to drive out of the underground parking lot.

The woman stood in front of the car, and before Lianyi could get started, she took the initiative to speak:

"My brother and I are willing to follow you and repay you for saving our lives. Now it's chaotic outside and it's hard to handle it alone. You need help. My brother is fast and I have the ability of perception. Because I have a premonition that we will meet a strong person worth following here, so we took the risk to come here tonight.”

After hearing what the woman said, Lianyi suddenly became interested. She glanced at the two people and immediately understood their situation.

It can only be said that this sister is smart enough. They must have been driven out during the second evolution and were surrounded by zombies when they were weak. They were lucky to meet her, a taskmaster. It is estimated that these two people died here in the previous life.

"Get in the car first!"

Lianyi directly gave up the driver's seat and moved to the passenger seat.

After the two siblings looked at each other, the sister sat in the driver's seat and the younger brother sat in the back, then they quickly drove the vehicle out of the underground parking lot.

"My name is Wu Lianyi."

"Hello, sister Lianyi. My name is Sun Wang, and my sister's name is Sun Yi. We are both from this city."

"Lianyi, where to go now?"

Sun Yi asked.

Sun Yi immediately agreed, turned the car around, and knocked away the zombies blocking the road. Then they quickly drove from the service road to the expressway, heading towards the nearest gas station.

"You guys should just live nearby. How did you get kicked out?"

Wu Lianyi asked calmly.

Seeing Sun Yi skillfully turn around and drive towards the expressway without turning on the navigation, Wu Lianyi had a guess.

Sun Yi was relatively calm, but Sun Wang was a little surprised and subconsciously asked:

"Sister Lianyi, how did you know?"

Sun Wang smiled sheepishly. What this big boss said was right, and she got it all right.

After he and his sister were kicked out by their uncle, they relied on his sister's perception ability to get to the mall, intending to find some food and get a vehicle. Unfortunately, they were besieged by zombies in the parking lot, and it was his sister who made a quick decision and followed Sister Lianyi. .

"Pah!" A bag of instant noodles and a bottle of mineral water were thrown into Sun Wang's arms. Sun Wang turned to look at Lianyi with surprise in his eyes.

"You have to pay it back!"

Wu Lianyi doesn't keep idle people.

"Thanks!"

Sun Wang and Sun Yi shared the food to appease their hungry stomachs, and soon they arrived at the gas station.

Lianyi did not get out of the car, she just gave each of them a kitchen knife, and the rest was up to them.

After observing the surroundings, the two siblings quickly got out of the car, operated the gas pump, then slowly moved towards the convenience store at the gas station.

After the two figures completely disappeared , Lianyi also jumped out of the car and touched the side of the oil tanker parked at the exit. Under the cover of the night, she directly put the entire tanker into the space, and then quickly returned to the car.

Half an hour later, the brother and sister, each carrying a large bag, came out of the convenience store, pulled out the gas pump, and got in the car. They found that zombies were already surrounding them.

"Now go to the Meteorological Bureau community. There is a place to stay there."

Wu Lianyi mentioned the place where the original body rented.

After knocking away the four or five zombies that surrounded it first, the car rushed all the way back to the previous neighborhood.

After parking the car in a secluded place and killing the two zombies that surrounded them, the three of them entered the apartment building smoothly.

Yun Rou, who was looking around on the second floor, saw that Wu Lianyi had returned safely and even brought two people back with her. She was furious, but her own ability was still too weak.

The two siblings had the same idea as Wu Lianyi. They cooked the rice they brought back and made the simplest kimbap¹.

Three days later, the zombies had become accustomed to the sun and could move freely during the day, which increased people's fear. The government issued a notice asking people living in the city to evacuate to the resettlement sites.

After waiting for another three days, the sound of approaching vehicles was heard. Military green trucks drove into different communities, killing zombies and receiving survivors for evacuation.

The scene was a bit chaotic. Although there were troops cleaning up the zombies that were surrounding them, the gathering of people and the smell of flesh and blood stimulated the zombies, and they surrounded them in waves. The sound of gunfire never stopped, which in turn attracted more zombies, and it felt like a vicious cycle.

Wu Lianyi was not planning to evacuate with the army, but when she looked down from the window, she saw Yun Rou's figure. The other party was actually hiding in this building.

"You're really good at hiding, to actually hide under the lamp²."

Wu Lianyi muttered to herself, then put away the things in the room, knocked on the door of the opposite unit, and called the Sun siblings.

"Sister Lianyi, are we evacuating with the army?"

Sun Wang asked.

"It's a bit chaotic right now, it's best to wait. Their high-profile evacuation has attracted many zombies."

Sun Yi also saw the situation downstairs, so she spoke out to remind them.

"Let's drive our own car, follow the convoy, and leave here first."
